Reply Smidday says: November 15, 2019 at 11:57 pm He's right about recognising something, in a class test I did a question that I practised and practised, I recognised a pattern (in the past papers they used the same quantities) so away I started my calculations. Halfway through I realised I had used the wrong numbers because of repetition, I skipped over important details rather than reading it properly. I did the same by highlighting what I thought was important, I just assumed that the information was relevant but it wasn't. Part of that was due to time constraints, when I study and have more time and less pressure, I take time to read over the question rather than throw myself at it. Reply will zheng says: November 16, 2019 at 2:49 am Heard of the book adaption from a prof, shoulda told me that it was a solution to my problems concerning homework, or else I wouldn't be struggling to pace myself with homework. Reply iRealDeal says: November 17, 2019 at 4:36 am Has anyone tried it yet and has any feedback to share? Reply galloe says: November 18, 2019 at 4:21 am I love that he mentioned Billy Budd by Herman Melville. When I was younger, my dad, who retired as a teacher in Mexico, recommended a movie that he saw as a teen while working at a movie theater. The name of the movie in Spanish was "La fragata infernal," which translates to "The Infernal Frigate" or "The Infernal Warship." It took me years to find the film, because I didn't have a reference to the original title, a lot of the times title translations are completely different in Spanish than their original English title. The problem was that over 40 years had passed since my father had seen the film, and he did not remember the title correctly, he had actually told me the name was "La fragata del diablo," so I wasn't able to find it and eventually forgot about it. Years later I came across a movie about a young sailor who is forced to serve on a naval ship and is eventually executed for killing the master-at-arms in self-defense, without witnesses around to prove his innocence. That's when it hit me that it was the exact same movie my dad had described years earlier. The name of the movie is Billy Budd, with Terrence Stamp and Peter Ustinov. I subsequently read the novel and it became one of my favorite stories of all time , right up there with The Count of Montecristo. I am very fond of the story due to the backstory of how I came to know about it, and to this day I still watch the movie at least once a year. I believe that film was Terrence Stamp's debut role too. Then went straight to top of the curve in college by sophomore year… in a very selective Engineering major. It did take a solid year to learn how to study for a long period of time. But know this… Psychedelics will flex your brain if done in a measured and constructive way and give you a huge engine. In college I would study for 10 hours straight… always on Sunday after getting the parting out of the way. Reply sara사라 says: December 13, 2019 at 12:10 am this video is super oldbut for real its true! i used to study a lot in middle school and spend all night with my head in a book, but once i started highschool ive started taking little breaks and i find it even faster i dont spent as much time as i used to. my biggest problem is if i have a whole day to study i dont feel pressure and need to pick up a book and study so i usually spend my day doing nothing and then by 8-9pm i actually start studying. also i study in my room and on my bed i find it the most comfortable and without pressure that i wont do great, sometimes i go to the school library but thats only if i need a book from there and cant take it home with me. i find studying with someone extremely hard i cant concentrate bc im thinking what if they finish before me or that i dont want to show how i dont understand something. so i just study in my room up to midnight with my headphones in and probably eating something.
